I imagined Bethel University hosting a day of unplugging and decided to create a campaign to encourage engagement, reflection, and connection for students.
In a world where technology is a fundamental part of our everyday lives, it is important to take a break every so often. Spending time with the people in our lives and being in nature without the distractions of our cell phones is important for our well-being. I was challenged to design and plan a 24-hour day of unplugging for Bethel University students.

To provide an event that encourages people to unplug from their devices. I wanted to organize an event that allowed people to be outside, build community, and engage in a day of rest. I wanted to communicate an adventurous, calm, and natural feeling for the event. These are some of the initial sketches that I made for the branding.

To build an all-outdoors event with many engaging events for participants to be a part of. The event would encourage unplugging and spending time not only with a community but also in nature. It would force people to slow down and take in the present. With the nature graphics and colors, the branding is welcoming and appealing to people who would want to participate in such an event.
