Most of Frank Sinatra’s original album covers incorporate the color blue and are a photo of himself. My goal was to create the feel of Sinatra’s music: old-fashioned, heartfelt, and jazzy. I did this by photographing images from vintage magazines, sketching jazz instruments, and handwriting the most popular Frank Sinatra songs. I layered these to create the complex and moody feel of Sinatra’s music.
